"For the time being he (Jesus) must remain out of sight in heaven until everything is restored to order again just the way God, through the preaching of his holy prophets of old, said it would be" (Acts 3:21 - the Message Bible)

Restoration is the act of "bringing something back to a former position or condition."

God had an original dream for humanity, for His People, and for the earth. God DREAMS about you and your future. He dreams about everything and everyone you influence. God wants to touch the earth realm THROUGH YOU!!! He wants to bring healing to the sick, joy to the downcast, strength to the weak, food to the hungry, shelter to the homeless, on-and-on - HE WANTS TO FASHION YOU INTO A RESTORATIONIST - one who becomes the method by which God restores all things to Himself (Col. 1:20 and Acts 3:21)

The world "groans... in eager expectation; waiting for the manifestation of the sons and daughters of God" (Romans 8:19). The world and all of creation are groaning for God's sons and daughters to rise up, manifest God's power and love, and then the restoration of all things will occur - THROUGH THE CHURCH. We are not waiting for the rapture to take us out, we are taking the Kingdom into all the earth by the Power of the Holy Spirit. Through the power of Jesus' Name, Blood, and Word, we will see the Kingdoms of this world (nations, art, entertainment, perceptions of politics, familes, etc) restored and become the Kingdoms of our Lord (Revelation 11:15).

The Covenant Network is a "restorationist" minded group. Imagine a life in which God's Will is being fulfilled for:

  • your work place
  • your family
  • your marriage
  • your friendships
  • your church
  • your calling
  • your emotions
  • most important, above all else - YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD.

We believe that God has a dream, an ideal, for the arts, for worship, for teaching, for the demonstration of His Kingdom. So, we seek to see that dream restored and implemented.

We are a "restoration culture" and we are passionate about the tools of restoration. God has had a dream for the GLBT community. His dream is for His Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, and Straight Children all to bring Glory to His Name as His own creation, created to bring Him Glory.

Therefore, WE SEEK THAT THE GLBT&S COMMUNITY BRING GLORY TO THE NAME OF THE LORD, in every area of our lives. We seek purity in our covenants, holiness in our homes, the pleasure of our God in our presence, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ to be proclaimed in us and through us.
