Do You Want More Power?  Do you want to experience the supernatural power of God and miracles more consistently in your life?  Then you definitely want to receive the infilling of the Holy Spirit.  The Holy Spirit is the member of the Godhead that is present in the earth to administrate God’s Presence and supernatural abilities among His children.

For more information on this second and subsequent experience to salvation, visit the following link:

http://karlstrader.com/main/videopage.aspx - there is a list of videos and one of them is on the Baptism in the Holy Spirit; the video is 8 min long, and it is one of the best that I (Pastor Randy) have ever seen

Easter Celebration 2007

New Covenant Church of Atlanta is moving onward and upward.  God is doing some amazing things among us.  This past Sunday, several gave their hearts to God, while many joined the church, and others were prayed for in order to receive healing.  God is continuing to be very good among us, let’s keep praising Him for it.

Active membership, if you are physically able, would you please, this Sunday (Easter) park next door at Greene’s?  We will need room for parking.

Come expecting the awesome presence of God this Sunday.

Word for Today

From Pastor Angela Brown

One Day He’s Coming Back

Living he loved me

Dying he saved me

Buried he carried my sins far away

Rising he justified freed me forever

One day he’s coming back glorious day

The words of that song celebrate the crucifixion, death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus. Some may say that the words give an inaccurate depiction of the events, but the song is a praise for us, knowing that the death of Jesus has saved our lives. If there were only one person walking this world in sin, Jesus would still have died on the cross to save that person. Praise God that each of us is just like the one, Jesus died for you, that is truly worthy of praise.

John 19:28-30

28Later, knowing that all was now completed, and so that the Scripture would be fulfilled, Jesus said, "I am thirsty." 29A jar of wine vinegar was there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put the sponge on a stalk of the hyssop plant, and lifted it to Jesus' lips. 30When he had received the drink, Jesus said, "It is finished." With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

Confession of Faith

From Pastor Joan Castle

(Say the following out loud during your devotional time, and meditate on these scriptural promises)

Father, I am a believer and these signs do follow me.  In the name of Jesus I cast out demons, I speak with new tongues, I lay hands on the sick and they do recover.  Jesus gave me the authority to use His name.  And that which I bind on earth is bound in heaven.  And that which I loose on earth is loosed in heaven.  Therefore in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ I bind the principalities, the powers, the rulers of the darkness of this world.  I bind and cast down spiritual wickedness in high places and render them harmless and ineffective against me and my entire household and the entire household of faith at New Covenant Church of Atlanta in the name of Jesus.

I am complete in Him who is the head of all principality and power.  For I am His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works which God has before ordained that I should walk therein.  No weapon formed against me shall prosper for my righteousness is of the Lord.  But whatever I do will prosper for I’m like a tree planted by the rivers of living water.  I am delivered from the evils of this present world for it is the will of God.  No evil will befall me neither shall any plague come nigh my dwelling.  The Lord has given His angels charge over me and keeps me in all my ways

This Week*** …

At A Home Group Near You…

The God Chasers - Curriculum

Home Group Participants, as you know, we have grown a lot.  As we have grown to over 100, our covenantal connections are being strengthened in the fellowships on Tuesdays because the home groups are smaller settings for fellowship.

The Book – “The God Chasers” is our current curriculum.  Many of you are extremely excited about the content of this study of the Word of God.  My request of you today is, please keep reading.  Tonight, we will be discussing my favorite chapter so far, chapter 6.  Next Tuesday, we will be discussing, at all home groups, chapter 7.  Please, go ahead and be reading chapter 6 and 7 so that you can come ready to participate in the discussion

Tuesdays at 7:30 PM, click one of the following links for more information.

2007

Growing For Sowing

Exceed to Seed

If God is giving you dreams and visions for something to accomplish here at New Covenant, then please, by all means share it with Pastor Randy.

Write it down and e-mail it:  Habakkuk 2:2 says, “And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that reads it.”  Write down what God is showing you and share it.

2007 is a year of “Growing for Sowing.”  A time for us to continue to grow.  As we are set to enter into the hundreds here at this local church, let’s keep in mind that God has also called us to other cities, other nations, etc.

God is setting in motion events that will send various leaders here at New Covenant to the north, south, east, and west.  We’re not just going to call them in, we will go out.  So, 2007 will be the year that we grow in order to sow.  That we exceed where we are in order to seed in other places.

Keeping in mind that God has called this church, New Covenant Church of Atlanta, to be a local church.  We are here, and God has called us here to this city.  However, God has also called us to go out as well.  So, be praying about your place and what God has for you.  These are exciting times.  Let’s grow together!!!
