Easter
Thank
you Jim and Bernie for opening your home and for hosting this awesome, new,
annual tradition. The lake was a God
was glorified Sunday morning, as we celebrated the Resurrection and
remembered the Holy Spirit’s role in the resurrection. We were very
blessed to have 124 in attendance Sunday morning. Pictures
of our Sunday morning service will be coming soon. |

By Pastor Randy Morgan There is no greater effort in the Body of Christ among His Children (gay, straight, black, white, male, or female) than to convince a soul that he/she is truly loved by God. God is always pouring out His awesome love on His awesome children. However, our reception of that love is often a little less than appropriate. We often reject that love by grumbling, complaining, getting mad at sisters and/or brothers in the Lord. We also sometimes “run away from home,” as was the case with the prodigal son. We feel that “no one understands us,” and we decide that it is time to “take a break from everything.” I tell you today, your activities, your life, your job, your church, your spouse, your sins, your addictions, anything that seems wrong or incomplete aren’t the root of the issues – it is the reception of the Father’s love that is the issue. When we receive the Father’s love through accepting Jesus Christ into our lives and opening ourselves up to His Holy Spirit (salvation of the spirit being a one-time, once and for all event, but opening up to the Holy Spirit in our lives is a daily activity), we begin to demonstrate a persistent growth toward wholeness, joy, and stability. However, the more we push the love of God from us, the more instability, anger, bitterness, inconsistency, etc we demonstrate. The deepest need of our heart is to find fulfillment in God. The whole point of Jesus’ arrival, ministry, death and resurrection was “God so loving us” (John 3:16). You have a Father that loves you. Today, take a moment to close your eyes, look up, smile, and say, “Father, I receive your love for me, right now, and I return my heart to you and say, Thank you, I love you, I worship you, you’re all that I want, and you’re all that I need, In Jesus’ Name.” You’ll find that as you take a moment to open yourself up to the King of Glory, that He will come and flood the moment. Trust your Father’s love, and you will never be the same. |

From Pastor Angela Brown We
have celebrated the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus, but what will
you do now. The most attended Sunday services are Christmas, Easter and
Mother’s Day, what about the other 53 Sundays and the rest of the year. It is
time for God’s people to be the warriors that we are called to be.
Nevertheless, the righteous will hold to their ways, and those with
clean hands will grow stronger (Job 17:9). This
verse states that the righteous will not be weakened by the enemy, but will instead
grow stronger in the word of our God. In essence, we take it by force. We
must claim what is ours in Jesus name. We are joint heirs with Jesus and not
anything that the enemy might say or do can change what is written in God’s
word. Enemy’s
Camp I
went to the enemy’s camp and I Took
back what he stole from me. Took
back what he stole from me. Took
back what he stole from me. I
went to the enemy’s camp and I Took
back what he stole from me. He’s
under my feet, he’s under my feet Satan
is under my feet. . |
From Pastor Joan Castle (Say the following out loud during your devotional
time, and meditate on these scriptural promises) I
am the body of Christ and Satan hath no power over me. For I overcome evil with good. I am of God and have overcome Satan. For greater is He that is in me, than he
that is in the world. I will fear no
evil for thou art with me Lord, Your Word and Your Spirit they comfort
me. I am far from oppression, and fear
does not come nigh me. No
weapon formed against me shall prosper for my righteousness is of the
Lord. But whatever I do will prosper
for I’m like a tree that’s planted by the rivers of water. I am delivered from the evils of this
present world for it is the will of God.
No evil will befall me neither shall any plague come nigh my
dwelling. For the Lord has given His
angels charge over me and they keep me in all my ways, and in my pathway is
life and there is no death. I am a
doer of the Word of God and am blessed in my deeds. I am happy in those things which I do
because I am a doer of the Word of God.
I take the shield of faith and I quench every fiery dart that the
wicked one brings against me |

2007 Growing For Sowing Exceed to Seed
If God is giving you dreams
and visions for something to accomplish here at New Covenant, then please, by
all means share it with Pastor Randy. Write it down and
e-mail it: Habakkuk 2:2 says, “And the LORD answered me, and said,
Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that reads
it.” Write down what God is showing
you and share it. |
2007 is a year of “Growing for Sowing.” A time for us to continue to grow. As we are set to enter into the hundreds here at this local church, let’s keep in mind that God has also called us to other cities, other nations, etc. God is setting in motion events that will send various leaders here at New Covenant to the north, south, east, and west. We’re not just going to call them in, we will go out. So, 2007 will be the year that we grow in order to sow. That we exceed where we are in order to seed in other places. Keeping in mind that God has called this church, |
