Text Box: This Coming Sunday – Find Shelter

As we move into the new facility, God is bringing reminders to us about words that He has spoken over us for years.  Now is the time for us to see God’s hand move among us like never before as we seek His Face and His Glory.

Now is the time for everyone to begin to come together and let go of the past and rise up to see God’s power at work among us.

I encourage everyone to read Psalm 91, and be reminded of what a Household of faith is truly for, it is the place where we experience the deposit of the Shadow of the Almighty, a place of safety, a place of restoration, a place to call Home in the Presence of God with a family of like precious faith.

So, if you’ve been away, now is the time to come home; if you need to find shelter, now is the time to find it.

When life is tough, you need the shelter of a church family, when life is good, you need the shelter of a church family.  God has made it so that the local church has the deposit of the Shadow of the Almighty in it, and that’s what being under a covering is all about…

We love you, and remember, Jesus is Lord,

The Joshua Ministry

(New Covenant’s Intercessory Prayer Ministry)

From Ron Rock

From Ron about the Gay Pride Outreach 2007

Pride weekend, huge spiritual success that it was, has passed but our work as NCCA intercessors continues on!

The volunteers at our booth passed out thousands of stickers, cd’s, magnets, cards and words of encouragement, comfort, salvation and love.

We quite literally fought the enemy at the gate!

Gods Word does not return void, but let’s not forget the parable of the farmer and the seeds.

Through the power of prayer, let’s bind the enemies attempt to steal the Word from hearts, let’s speak rivers of living water over the seeds that fells on rocky soil, let’s loose the weeds that grow up and choke new life, and let’s agree that the Word will find fertile ground.

We are fishers of men. We’ve only just cast our nets. Lets repair them daily- renewing our minds with the Word of God, confessing our sins daily and forgiving others as our Father in heaven forgives us- so that nothing may hinder our prayer life.

Let us receive them in the name of the Lord, encourage them, pray with and for them…

Love them!

It is by our love for each other that the world will see that we are [authentic] Christians

Let us have faith and patience for the harvest that comes in due season!

Mondays - at Ron Rock’s Home in Tucker.  For more information, see him.

If you have a need, the intercessors will pray for that need.

Remember, if you live outside the city, you can send your contributions to:

The Terumah fund is the name of our building fund – named from the Hebrew word for offerings that were made to build the tabernacle (Exodus 25:2 – pronounced Tay-room-ah).

Growing For Sowing

Exceed to Seed

If God is giving you dreams and visions for something to accomplish here at New Covenant, then please, by all means share it with Pastor Randy.

Write it down and e-mail it:  Habakkuk 2:2 says, “And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that reads it.”  Write down what God is showing you and share it.

2007 is a year of “Growing for Sowing.”  A time for us to continue to grow.  As we are set to enter into the hundreds here at this local church, let’s keep in mind that God has also called us to other cities, other nations, etc.

God is setting in motion events that will send various leaders here at New Covenant to the north, south, east, and west.  We’re not just going to call them in, we will go out.  So, 2007 will be the year that we grow in order to sow.  That we exceed where we are in order to seed in other places.

Keeping in mind that God has called this church, New Covenant Church of Atlanta, to be a local church.  We are here, and God has called us here to this city.  However, God has also called us to go out as well.  So, be praying about your place and what God has for you.  These are exciting times.  Let’s grow together!!!
