From Pastor Angela Brown

1 Cor. 12:28 And in the church God has appointed first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then workers of miracles, also those having gifts of healing, those able to help others, those with gifts of administration, and those speaking in different kinds of tongues.

Those of us who are in the teaching profession know that we are called into this life, because teaching requires more than an 8-4 commitment. Many of us come early or stay late, because we love what we do, or maybe not, and we do it for the children and not the paycheck (God supplies our needs according to his riches Phil. 4:19). Those of us who are reading this email this morning who do not teach, are equally called to do the will and work of God wherever we may be.

God has appointed you to be a representative of Him, not man or his gadgets, but our Heavenly Father. Don’t worry about what people say about you, worry about answering the one who has called you

God Bless,

Pastor Angela Brown

Text Box: Our First Sunday in the New Location

With a shout of praise, I’m grateful for all that God is doing among us.  We are in the new location.  Sunday, 127 believers came together to worship God and hear the Word of the Lord.  Those of you who were here for the first time, we are so grateful that you took the time to come be with us.  Our prayer is that you found New Covenant to be a safe place of worship and learning from the Word of God.

New Covenant’s ministries are expanding and moving forward continually.  Now is the time to jump in and see what God is doing.

If you’re interested in joining New Covenant, then please see Pastor Angela and Dr. Jack as they are coordinating the membership seminars.

Let’s all continue to pursue the Lover of our Souls, Jesus, and let’s see the lost come to a saving knowledge of His Awesome, redeeming blood and love.

We love you, and remember, Jesus is Lord,

Pastor Randy Morgan

The Joshua Ministry

(New Covenant’s Intercessory Prayer Ministry)

From Ron Rock

From Ron - A prayer under the pulpit

Pastor Randy and Ron worked together on building the platform for a day. At the end of the day, Pastor Randy asked Ron to write a prayer to "go under the platform, directly under the pulpit" as a point of dedication and contact. This is the prayer that is encased beneath the podium:

Father,
we draw near to You because we love You and bless You.
You are worthy to be praised.

We thank You for everything You have given us and everything You have taken away.
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We thank You in advance for the anointing that will come upon the speakers in this house.

Father,
As in Genesis where it describes the Spirit of God hovering over the waters bringing forth new life, may the Holy Spirit ever hover over this house bringing forth new life to the multitudes.

Father God in heaven,
We thank You for Your Word, we thank You for Your Son and His shed blood, we thank You for the Holy Spirit - Counselor, Comforter, Helper, Advocate, and Intercessor.

Let Your glory, Lord
Rise among us!

In Jesus' name we pray
Amen

Mondays - at Ron Rock’s Home in Tucker.  For more information, see him.

If you have a need, the intercessors will pray for that need.

Growing For Sowing

Exceed to Seed

If God is giving you dreams and visions for something to accomplish here at New Covenant, then please, by all means share it with Pastor Randy.

Write it down and e-mail it:  Habakkuk 2:2 says, “And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that reads it.”  Write down what God is showing you and share it.

2007 is a year of “Growing for Sowing.”  A time for us to continue to grow.  As we are set to enter into the hundreds here at this local church, let’s keep in mind that God has also called us to other cities, other nations, etc.

God is setting in motion events that will send various leaders here at New Covenant to the north, south, east, and west.  We’re not just going to call them in, we will go out.  So, 2007 will be the year that we grow in order to sow.  That we exceed where we are in order to seed in other places.

Keeping in mind that God has called this church, New Covenant Church of Atlanta, to be a local church.  We are here, and God has called us here to this city.  However, God has also called us to go out as well.  So, be praying about your place and what God has for you.  These are exciting times.  Let’s grow together!!!
