Text Box: Anniversary Celebration

What a weekend!!!  The worship was amazing, the Word that God brought was profound.  The attendance was remarkable.  Thursday – 67, Friday – 76, Saturday – 86, Sunday AM – 108, and Sunday PM - 45.  Pastor Tony Sirten and Ronnie, Pastor Tony Hoult and Apostle Craig Franklin, Pastor Pam and June, Pastor Eugene and Robby, and Ruth Cooper were all a part of this amazing weekend, and I and the New Covenant Family say thank you for being with us.

The Words that God continued to give throughout the weekend were:

  • Pastor Pam - Change is vital for the Christian life.  We must become more and more like Him.
  • Pastor Brian - We must submit to God’s direct and delegated authority.  In order to become like Jesus, we must understand what it means to have His Authority in our lives.
  • Leah and Amy - Our relationships must shift toward proper foundations
  • Ron Rock - We must pray and seek His face in order to have His Will active in the earth and in our church
  • Deacon Tonna Eidson - We must become armor bearers and support systems for each other and the men and women of God that God has placed in our lives.
  • Deacon Ron Floda - We must learn to actively hear and release the voice of God in our lives
  • Deacon Jack Brink - We must become a healthier people in every area of our lives
  • Jacob – no matter how young, we’re called to serve God…
  • Pastor Johnny Layton-Morgan and Pastor Tony Hoult - Leadership and their spouses must come to a higher understanding of their call and how to support one another more aggressively.
  • Sister Ruth Cooper - God is calling us to be “History Makers,” so “saddle up your horses New Covenant, we’ve got a trail to blaze … it’s a great adventure.”  God wants to demonstrate among us and raise us up to be healers of the hurting.
  • Apostle Craig Franklin – Like Esther, we are called to come before the King, in spite of the enemy, in spite of personal cost, and become the Queenly Bride that Jesus expects us to be.
  • Pastors Angela and Joan – And we are called to be established, connected, and active in the ministry.  If we don’t know what to do, grab a toilet brush and get to scrubbing, if we don’t know what to do, seek God’s face and serve, serve, serve…
  • The worship team was remarkable as dozens of our church family worshipped God with absolute abandon.  God was exalted with excellence as the Todd and the team set their best feet forward for the King.
  • On Sunday morning, we ordained Dr Jack, Jim G, Ron Floda, and Tonna Eidson as deacons at New Covenant.  It was one of the most powerful ordinations I have ever been a part of in my life.

Please know that wherever you are, New Covenant is here to be a help and serve you.

We love you, and remember, Jesus is Lord,

Pastor Randy Morgan

Growing For Sowing

Exceed to Seed

If God is giving you dreams and visions for something to accomplish here at New Covenant, then please, by all means share it with Pastor Randy.

Write it down and e-mail it:  Habakkuk 2:2 says, “And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that reads it.”  Write down what God is showing you and share it.

2007 is a year of “Growing for Sowing.”  A time for us to continue to grow.  As we are set to enter into the hundreds here at this local church, let’s keep in mind that God has also called us to other cities, other nations, etc.

God is setting in motion events that will send various leaders here at New Covenant to the north, south, east, and west.  We’re not just going to call them in, we will go out.  So, 2007 will be the year that we grow in order to sow.  That we exceed where we are in order to seed in other places.

Keeping in mind that God has called this church, New Covenant Church of Atlanta, to be a local church.  We are here, and God has called us here to this city.  However, God has also called us to go out as well.  So, be praying about your place and what God has for you.  These are exciting times.  Let’s grow together!!!
