What God Says to You

If you have ever been told that God does not love you or accept you because you are gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgendered - You were told WRONG! We could write pages explaining the truth about what the Bible is really saying in Hebrew and Greek, the context and culture of the scriptures, etc, but we will just stick to the basics here.

God knows you and loves you deeply

"Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you." Jeremiah 1:5

"I have loved you with an everlasting love." Jeremiah 31:3

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16

God's Perfect Plan for You

"I came that you might have life and have it more abundantly." John 10:10

"For I know thet thoughts I think toward you says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11

"For God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world but that the world (the whole world including you) through Him might be saved." John 3:17

God Desires a relationship with you

"For I desire mercy and not sacrifice, and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings." Jeremiah 1:5

"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment." Matthew 22:37

"Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God." Matthew 5:16

"Delight yourself in the Lord and he shall give you the desires of your heart" Psalm 37:4

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths." Provers 3:5-6

Jesus is the only bridge between God and you

"For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God" Romans 3:23

"For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." Acts 4:12

"...but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation." Romans 5:11

How to know God

A. Acknowledge:

Your sin, disobedience or apathy has seperated you from God.

"For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God" Romans 3:23

B. Believe:

Believe in Jesus and that His shed blood, death and resurrection is the only way to be truly reconciled to God.

"I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6

C. Confess:

Confess what you believe about Jesus.

"If you confess with your mouth the lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9

What's Next?

Know that you are a NEW person

"Therefore if anyone is in Christ he is a new creation..." 2 Corinthians 5:17

Invest yourself in your new relationship with God

"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." Matthew 7:7

Receive all that God has for you
